LIFEstyle Outreach

Manifesting the LIFE of Christ in power and love to help, heal, and inspire faith

LIFEstyle Outreach – in Power and Love

“My speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.” (1 Cor. 2:4-5)

Often believers have an inferiority complex and weak presentation of the Gospel because their reaching out to others is full of words but devoid of power and love.  Jesus, on the other hand, ministered by the power of the Holy Spirit which resulted in healing, miracles, and supernatural insight which enlightened minds, transformed lives, and healed bodies; there was thus no question that the Spirit of God was with and in Him and these powerful “signs” (Mk. 16:17-18) pointed people to God.  He operated in visible authority (Mt. 7:28-29), power, love, and truth that reached the heart — rather than just shooting a bunch of disjointed information bullets which end up falling to the ground.

If you want to join an outreach where “faith working by love” (Gal. 5:6) in “demonstration of the Spirit and of power” is a vital component, get in touch with us.  We want you to get exposed and equipped, so it becomes your lifestyle as a believer.  Reaching others is the first step in fulfilling the Great Commission, and “he who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.”  (1 John 2:6)  So there is no living like Jesus without reaching out like Him.

LifeTeams regularly reach out in power and love and that’s the best way to plug-in to outreach.  If you’re not part of a LifeTeam and would still like to go for outreach with us, please get in touch.  There are various opportunities available and that will arise, ranging from reaching out in Diepsloot, reaching people in shopping malls and neighborhoods, hospitals, etc.  The goal is to make “outreach” a LIFEstyle — like Jesus, and then provide opportunities for those reached to grow to maturity, which is the purpose of LifeTeams.
