Manifesting the power and ability of God to heal and deliver stems from understanding the FINISHED work of Christ at the whipping post and the cross.

The New Testament refers to one ministry: The ministry of reconciliation (2 Cor. 5:18). Believers are to help people get to know God (via reconciliation to Him through Christ), and then to help others “grow up INTO Him in all things” (Eph. 4:15) — which has to do with reconciling our thoughts and mindset to Christ’s mind and knowledge. (Rom. 12:2, 2 Peter 1:3), which is walking by faith and not sight. (2 Cor. 5:7)

– Need healing? It is finished. (1 Peter 2:24)
– Are you bound and in need of freedom? It is finished. (Lk. 4:18)

Elijah’s example of persevering prayer: (James 5:15, 17-18 / 1 Kings 17:1-4 / 1 Kings 18:40-46)

Calling “things which do not exist as though they did” (Rom. 4:17)

Because “It is Finished”, we need only believe, and Christ’s works are made manifest. (Galatians 3:1-7)

Don’t measure the situation by your human ability — but by Christ’s sacrificial payment — Paid in full already.
