About this Video / Audio teaching:
Our effectiveness as believers to live like Jesus (Jn. 14:12) stems from understanding and acting upon the reality of BEING a New Creation IN Christ rather than striving in the flesh. Every healing, act of power, or otherwise — if flowing from the assurance and understanding of the power / identity of who Christ has made us to BE IN Him, and the UNION we have WITH Him — is backed by the unlimited ability of God.
Are you a believer? Learn to LIVE according to your God created and established IDENTITY IN Christ (2 Cor. 5:17), then HIS authority and power will be displayed in all that you do, and your life experience will begin to align with Jesus’ declaration that “he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask IN My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything IN My name, I will do it.” (John 14:12-14)
Other points touched on in this teaching:
– Religion (works of flesh) vs. Relationship (BEING in Christ and acting accordingly)
– The power of understanding the substitutionary aspect of Christ’s death and resurrection (identification with Christ in death (to the old nature), and alive to Christ in the power of His resurrection (living as a New Creation)), which we have become partakers of:
“For He made Him who knew no sin to BE sin for us, that we might BECOME the righteousness of God in Him.” (2 Cor. 5:21)
“You ARE the light of the world.” (Matthew 5:14-16)
“In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might LIVE THROUGH HIM.” (1 John 4:9)
“For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then ALL died; and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again. Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a NEW CREATION; old things have passed away; behold, ALL THINGS HAVE BECOME NEW.” (2 Cor. 5:14-6:2)
“Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He IS, so are WE in this world.” (1 Jn. 4:17)
“and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places IN Christ Jesus.” (Ephesians 2:6)
