There’s no need to strive — we could never earn God’s love. He loved us before we stepped foot in this world and Jesus’ blood was shed to enable us to experience it. He now calls us to understand how FULLY accepted we are, to the point of being family … and as we ABIDE in His love, we will find even our hearts desires are fulfilled.
We need to stop relying on our own efforts and enter instead into God’s rest of faith. The LIFE of God is in the seed — His Word. To be fruitful we simply need to make sure the soil of our heart is healthy and providing the environment the seed needs in order to grow and manifest its full potential. Let’s keep the weeds and thorns out and make sure there’s enough water and nutrition. As we believe and maintain our heart fixed on Jesus, God’s life and power will cause growth and results. It doesn’t matter how long it takes, we can rest on the assurance of God’s promise that transformation will come. He’s not a liar.
There’s more. Jesus said PRAYER is the way we get there. His power, love, and LIFE in action, through the door-way of prayer. Our LIFE in Christ is defined by our prayer life. Faith comes easy, when we live with an awareness of His presence.
The foundation for transforming the world involves living a LIFE of transformation. This first part in a series touches on keeping the Heavenly, victorious vision in regards to living as the bride of Christ.
Your relationship and intimacy with God is what LIFE is all about; it’s also the ACTIVATOR in releasing the promises of God and KEY to walking in the FULLNESS of CHRIST.
What manner of people should we be? (2 Peter 3:1-15). Heavenly, powerful, salt and light — like Jesus. Samples of men of God (John G. Lake, David Livingstone, St. Francis of Assisi) who were focused, dedicated, and eternal minded.
The greatest miracle? — Bringing LOVE to LIFE (a study of 1 Cor. 13). Delve into the ESSENCE of GOD, who “is love” (1 Jn. 4:8), and see how embodying LOVE = walking in His fullness and walking in relationship with LOVE Himself. Discover how every miracle is contained in embodying LOVE, and how to live this out in real LIFE scenarios.
Some people live in man-made religion; others chose to enter into the depths of relationship with Christ. Those who chose the later are LIFE-bearers of God, having laid down their lives as Christ laid down His life for us — the result is the LIFE of God manifesting through the LIFE of the believer.
If you desire your life to shine forth the FULLNESS and effectiveness of Christ, beyond isolated acts of faith, then this is for you, “… that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.” (Eph. 3:19)
