Jesus our Ballast Pt. 2 (LIFE in the Spirit). Living with priority, stability, simplicity, and childlike faith, which results in a life of fellowship and effectiveness IN Christ.
Jesus as our ballast equates to living with stability, simplicity, and childlike faith. We’re not called to be professionals in one area yet immature in another; we’re to grow up in to the wholeness / fullness of Christ. (Eph. 4:13) As we abide in Jesus and allow Him to be our ballast, we find peace, rest, joy, and effectiveness.
God’s stated, Biblical purpose for mankind is to represent Him and operate in His authority and power to ensure His “will is done on Earth, as it is in Heaven.” (Mt. 6:10) Discover and live God’s commission to YOU, and find your life’s purpose.
God’s powerful Wisdom, hidden in a mystery from the foundation of the world, is now revealed to and through those IN Christ.
“But we speak the WISDOM of God in a MYSTERY, the HIDDEN WISDOM which God ordained before the ages for OUR GLORY, which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.” (1 Cor. 2:6-9)
Living as a giver of LIFE … God’s LIFE. The LIFE that God IS. The LIFE that believers have partaken of by virtue of being born again. “And so it is written, ‘The first man Adam became a living being.’ The last Adam became a life- giving spirit.” (1 Cor. 15:45)
Manifesting the power and ability of God to heal and deliver stems from understanding the FINISHED work of Christ at the whipping post and the cross. All you need has been paid for in full, by Jesus. Your part now is to believe.
To see how God sees, and do as He does, we must have the VISION He has.
God’s vision is the ultimate fulfillment of God’s purposes. The MISSION is what we do to bring it about.
“When you see the invisible, you will do the impossible.” — Oral Roberts.
(Part 2 of 2). Jesus gave believers the “Great ComMISSION” to make disciples. This is a LIFEstyle, fellowship, and process of helping others “grow up in all things into Him who is the head — Christ.” (Eph. 4:15). It’s laying down one’s life for another in love, like Jesus (Jn. 15:13). Maturity is realized through reproduction. If a believer lives like Jesus, and is reproducing other believers that live like Jesus — that’s a mature believer — a member of the bride of Christ. (Rev. 19:7-8).
