The church / body of Christ / believers are meant to be an expression of God’s authority in this world — not just in “spiritual” matters, but in every sector of society. God has destined His children to be the leaders, movers and shakers — shaking this world into the reality of the awesomeness of God — by example, not just in theory. Infused with Christ Himself, believers are to set the tone of what happens in this world.
Ensuring you’re fulfilling your destiny involves understanding your identity in Christ as part of His Family, and working together as ONE BODY — enabling us to reach higher and farther than we could alone. Your destiny involves embodying LOVE, Who is God — the one who laid down His life for us and said to go and do the same, for each other, and to reach the world.
Ensuring you’re fulfilling your destiny involves understanding your identity in Christ as part of His Family, and as a priest and King. It involves prioritizing, and living the LIFE that Jesus destined you to live — IN, FOR, and BECAUSE of Him.
Living as a giver of LIFE … God’s LIFE. The LIFE that God IS. The LIFE that believers have partaken of by virtue of being born again. “And so it is written, ‘The first man Adam became a living being.’ The last Adam became a life- giving spirit.” (1 Cor. 15:45)
Our effectiveness as believers to live like Jesus (Jn. 14:12) stems from understanding and acting upon the reality of BEING a New Creation IN Christ rather than striving in the flesh. Every healing, act of power, or otherwise — if flowing from the assurance and understanding of the power / identity of who Christ has made us to BE IN Him, and the UNION we have WITH Him — is backed by the unlimited ability of God.
