POINTS TOUCHED ON IN THIS SESSION:

God limits Himself to work through His body / believers

– God’s waiting on us, not vice-versus

ONE BODY – in UNION with Christ.

(Psalms 8:4-9) “WHAT IS MAN that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit him? For You have made him a little lower than the angels, [NAS, AV, RSV, “GOD”] And You have crowned him with glory and honor. You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet.”

– Same essence of God, limited in understanding.
– Renewing of our minds to God’s word brings understanding.
– HIS promises cause us to be “partakers of the divine nature.” (2 Peter 1:4)
– enlightened understanding

FILLED with the Spirit

The understanding of God results in the works of God, through a believers life.

God’s works (through believers) reveal the character and nature of God.

Darkened (or limited) understanding results in alienation from the life of God (experientially). (Eph. 4:17-18)

Developing our spiritual senses
– living by the SPIRIT not flesh
– being immersed / baptized in Spirit

The eternal effects of soul development

Don’t think like men. Think like God. Put on the mind of Christ.
